Michael Rozell

Wooden Objex is an emerging custom furniture studio based in Granville, Ohio, led by award-winning furniture designer and craftsman Michael Rozell. Wooden Objex specializes in custom wood pieces.

Known for his sculptural approach to woodworking, Michael creates one‑of‑a‑kind pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary furniture design.

His work includes custom wood furniture, functional art, and sculptural forms, all handmade from domestic and exotic hardwoods. Each piece balances bold form and refined restraint, resulting in designs that anchor across many design environments.

Michael’s work has been recognized across the craft and design community, with multiple awards from the Ohio Craft Museum and exhibitions at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show and High Point Market. His pieces are held in private and public collections around the world.
